Ensure that all incidents and accidents are thoroughly investigated to eliminate or reduce any future occurrences.
Improve occupational health and safety through periodic review and improvement of Policies and procedures.
Maintain trained individuals or teams capable of dealing with medical and emergency situations.
Prevent personal and company losses from the consequences of accidents, injuries, illness, property damage, environmental and process loss.
Use a risk management methodology to develop and implement systems and procedures.
Provide health support systems to ensure the continued good health of employees, contractors and or visitors exposed to potential hazards and provide effective rehabilitation to promote early recovery from work based injuries or illness.
Provide and support workplace based consultative and communication processes.
All the requirements of AS 4801 are intended to be incorporated into the Integrated Management System. The effective implementation of the Integrated Management System will seek to ensure that Dawsons Group of Companies complies with relevant State
OH&S Legislations, AS/NZ Standards, Codes of Practice and business best practice OH&S principals.
