Dawson’s Diesel Services began operations in the Northern Territory in 1995 as a sole trader and established itself as a Proprietary Limited Company in 1997.
The company Director, Bernard ‘Smokey’ Dawson has 25 years experience in the mining and earthmoving industry as a qualified diesel mechanic. We are proudly Australian owned with our headquarters based in the Northern Territory city of Darwin and operate throughout the Australia / Pacific Region. |

Dawson’s are primarily involved with all aspects of repairs and maintenance to heavy earthmoving machinery and equipment for the mining, construction industries and Australian Defence Force, our spacious and well equipped workshop also carries out complete servicing and maintenance on the full range of agricultural, trucking, light vehicles, marine and smaller plant and equipment. Over the past eleven years Dawson’s has expanded it’s operations by diversifying it’s primary objective to grow into a distinguished enterprise and made it’s mark Australia wide. Incorporating other companies that complement the unequalled service to our customers, currently the Dawson’s Group of Companies will continue to grow and further strengthen this unique enterprise, set to become one of the major employers in the Northern Territory.
